Paul Pogba does not feel a move from Juventus to Man Utd is
right for him – The star midfielder would prefer a move to Real Madrid this
summer – His agent Mino Raiola has advised him to move to United and play for
three years – The Frenchman has however not rejected Manchester United’s
advances Juventus and France midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly told his
agent Mino Raiola that a move to Manchester United does not appeal to him.
The
midfielder has revealed that he would prefer moving to Real Madrid despite
being told to stay at United for three years before moving to the capital club.
According to Manchester Evening News, Pogba would prefer
remaining at his current club if a Madrid transfer can’t be worked out. His
agent, Mino Raiola has advised the player to leave for United and work with
Jose Mourinho for three years before going to Madrid but he would not move in
2019 when he would be 26.
Madrid’s interest in Pogba has cooled with both Marca and AS
claiming that the Spanish giants are looking into his France teammate N’Golo
Kante, as Florentino Perez has never been Pogba’s biggest fan. Jorge Mendes,
Jose Mourinho’s agent, has been appointed by United to negotiate for Pogba by
meeting with Raiola. It is believed that discussions so far have been fruitful,
and that the Manchester clubs are as close as they have ever been to signing
the sought-after midfield enforcer whom they allowed to leave for free four
years ago. Two of Raiola’s clients – Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan
– are expected to join Mourinho at Old Trafford very soon.
